Plien Air Barn, Clayton, CA

I enjoyed a nice day with my watercolors and put this together. I haven't been out much lately, too busy putting my architecture together in the computer. I don't know if I'll ever finish it but it was a lot of fun to finally paint and draw again.

32nd Annual PNAA National Convention

Here's two things I put together for an upcoming Nurses Association Convention to be held here in  San Francisco next year.  The top image is for a CD Cover, the bottom is for a poster that could be emailed.

3D Canopy Drawings

Here are some preliminary 3D drawings I created for an existing building that needed two glass entry canopies added.  They were drawn in Google Sketchup.

Victorian Sketch

I haven't drawn my Victorians in a while. Not a lot of time because I'm working on some other life's pursuits. Here's something I drew using pen and ink. It's nice to get back into it again. The drawing seems to come alive with the various line widths. They play as in a symphony of sounds in an orchestra with every line that has a purpose.

I love to draw because it's a great stress re-leaver. Last week, I went to San Francisco to draw with a couple of other cartoonist friends. I drew as images just seem to flow from my head and onto my hand. Maybe they've been there all along and just crying to get out.

Sketching around town

Waiting in line to see a movie, I drew the lobby space at the Brenden Movie Theater in Concord.

While sipping a cup of coffee, I sketched the neighborhood "Half Price Books" across the street from Starbucks.

Both buildings in the downtown square of Concord, CA.
